Programming HighlightsBehind the Headlines – Thursday, May 17, 6pm – Mike Sweeney, five-time American League All-Star first baseman who served as the captain of the Kansas City Royals, is a devout Catholic who is dedicated to helping kids learn about Christ through baseball. Dedicated to sharing three basic themes: love, family, and youth, Sweeney shares his firsthand stories of living a life of faith in the Big Leagues. Don Smith of Lewiston Shares His Testimony! Tune in to hear Don Smith share how he came to belief in Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist. Don is the Director of Faith Formation at Prince of Peace Parish in Lewiston. This approximately 15-minute feature will air Thursday (May 17) at 12:45pm, Sunday (May 20) at 4:15pm, Tuesday (May 22) at 12:45pm, and Saturday (May 26) at 4:15pm. Kresta in the Afternoon – Daily 5pm – Al Kresta is a broadcaster, journalist and author who is, first of all, a missionary. He draws upon his unique faith background to create what is, arguably, the most fascinating — and most spiritually constructive — talk show on radio today. Heard on over 120 stations and Sirius Satellite, Kresta in the Afternoon looks at all areas of life through the lens of Scripture and the teaching of the Catholic Church and takes on all comers. |
