Cynthia Nickless, Executive Director
Cindy has been working on the Catholic radio project since its inception in 2005. She has served on the Maine Catholic Radio Network board for 3 years, the Catholic Foundation of Maine board for 6 years, and the board of 89.3 (a Christian music station) for 8+ years.
She affectionately calls Madawaska, ME her hometown. Having lived in Connecticut for 17 years, she returned to Maine in 2000. Cindy’s career started with IBM in Portland. She worked in the technology field for 18 years primarily in entrepreneurial ventures. In 1997 she co-founded Millennia III, a technology consulting firm located in Westport, CT, which was sold to a premiere data storage company. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine, attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Helping to build the first Catholic radio network in the State of Maine is the most fulfilling achievement of her career. She currently lives in Scarborough with her husband, son and daughter.
Josh Houde, Production Assistant
Josh Houde grew up in southern Maine and volunteered in Christian radio throughout high school. He studied for four years at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio and graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree and honors in both theology and communication arts (radio and television). He spent three years (2007-2010) in Fort Kent, Maine, where he worked as a pastoral associate at St John Vianney Parish. Now, he is excited to put his background and skills to use in the work of evangelization through Catholic radio.
Richard A. Hyatt, Engineering Consultant
Richard A. Hyatt is a Catholic, professional broadcast engineering management consultant, who oversees The Presence Radio Network’s technical planning, budgeting, construction, operation and maintenance of its owned and operated facilities. A former radio station owner himself, he is President of Maine Engineering Associates, Inc., is certified by the national Society of Broadcast Engineers as a Professional Broadcast Engineer, is certified by the National Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers as a Master Engineer with Broadcast AM and FM Endorsements, and he also holds the highest class of engineering license attainable issued by the Federal Communications Commission. On a personal note, Dick is an accomplished keyboard and vocal artist, who serves as music minister at several area Catholic churches within the Diocese of Portland.
