The Presence Radio Network is a non-profit lay apostolate supporting Catholic evangelization in our beautiful state of Maine. This means that we need your help! There are many ways to show your support; financial donations are only one critical avenue. Pledging your time is a beautiful and important manner in which to do so as well! So show that you believe in this important mission and support Catholic radio by being an integral part of spreading the word!
There are a number of ways that you can pledge your time in support of The Presence.

Did you know that many Catholics who attend Mass at your parish may not know about The Presence in your area? Learn more about this rewarding opportunity to spread the word that Maine has its own Catholic radio station in The Presence!
The Presence Radio Network is in need of Parish Team Volunteers. We need helping hands to help us spread the word about the availability of Catholic radio in Greater Portland at 106.7 FM and online at thepresence.fm outside of the Greater Portland area.
Some of the needs are as follows:
- Be ready to keep The Presence Radio Network materials stocked and on hand in your parish and be willing to deliver any complimentary materials to parish schools.
- Be the liaison between your parish & The Presence Radio Network events by passing out flyers and information, submitting bulletin announcements, organizing parish talks about The Presence, or delivering a The Presence Radio Network pulpit announcement as allowed by your Pastor.
- Help to identify events/activities at your parish that will help build awareness of The Presence Catholic radio in your parish and area.

- Be available to help with mailings about The Presence supported community events, parish announcements, The Presence Newsletters and supporting our Parish Team Missionaries.
- Be available to answer phones, facilitate station operations, data entry, and meeting all kinds of administrative needs. Great on-the-ground ideas for making our outreach better and stronger come from people like you and certainly will be a part of the overall Station Team effort.
- Help to identify events/activities at your parish or in your community that will help build awareness of The Presence Catholic radio in your parish and area.

One of the greatest elements of the Body of Christ is strong community and loving one’s neighbor. This is a great opportunity to pray and live by the Golden Rule. Prayer is integral to our daily lives and sometimes lives are so hard, people are struggling with sickness, death in their families, separations from loved ones, or difficult emotional, spiritual or financial times. When life gets this hard it often is hard to pray. This is where The Presence Radio Network Prayer Team comes in! Many supportive prayers are needed for our brothers and sisters that are in circumstances that have made them too weary to handle them on their own. We need you! They need you! The Presence Radio Network is looking for volunteers to facilitate prayer with and for others in great need of support and caring.
The Presence Radio Network is in need of radio Prayer Team Volunteers . We are looking for volunteers to help us support those identified to us as people in need of prayers as well as the ability to pray with them. This is one of the most important and powerful efforts that we as Catholics can provide for one another.
Some of the needs are as follows:
- Be available to meet in groups with other volunteers to pray for those on our prayer list. Be willing to meet with people that are in need of a kind hand, ear and can pray with them.
- Be available to call and check in on those who are on our list and to pray with them and for them. Sometimes just knowing that someone is there and praying for you is the uplifting answer to a prayer all by itself. Great on-the-ground ideas for making our outreach better and stronger come from people like you and certainly will be a part of the overall Prayer Volunteer Team effort.
- Help to identify events/activities at your parish or in your community that will help build awareness of The Presence Catholic radio and its prayer team and other efforts in your parish and area.

A few times a year, The Presence Radio Network will hold an On-Air appeals for pledges and donations. These are the most crucial fund-raising activities that The Presence Radio Network will hold each year. Many beautiful voices to answer phones to take donations and pledges will be needed for these events. We need you to help The Presence Radio Network’s most important fund raising events be successful to keep Catholic radio on the air and growing in Maine!
The Presence Radio Network is in need of radio Pledge Drive Team Volunteers. Our very first Pledge Drive is scheduled for September of this year and we are beginning to gear up to make this critical fund-raising event successful and fun! We need your hands, smile and voice to answer the phones for this very important campaign.
Some of the needs are as follows:
- Be available for multiple blocks of time over the course of the week long Pledge Drive to answer phones, facilitate Q&A, accomplish data entry into our Donor Management System and accomplish fulfillment and Thank you’s to our donors.
- Be available to be on call in case call volume is larger than anticipated, willing to work in teams to facilitate ideas on how to optimize our Pledge Drive; this is a live programming event and feedback will be critical based on donor comments. Great on-the-ground ideas for donations, programming and making our community outreach better and stronger come from people like you and certainly will be a part of the overall Pledge Drive Volunteer Team effort.
- Help to identify events/activities at your parish or in your community that will help build awareness of The Presence Catholic radio and its mission, and support its funding needs on an on-going basis in your parish and area.
